Proposed Regional Comprehensive Plan for the Fairbanks North Star Borough

Abstract:
Update on comprehensive plan and discussion of areas of the plan where water resources professionals can provide useful input.

We encourage our members and other brownbag attendees to review the Comprehensive Plan before the meeting so as to increase the opportunity of constructive interaction with the FNSB Community Planning Director. The Draft Comprehensive Plan is available for download at the following URL:

http://www.co.fairbanks.ak.us/CommunityPlanning/ComprehensivePlan/. There is the possibility for our organization to give input to the Planning Commission by January 20th 2004, when review of the Environment and Beautification Chapter is scheduled for.

This will be a joint meeting with the Alaska Water and Wastewater Management Association. ( http://www.awwma.org/ )
